Q. Do you require that I sign a rental agreement?

A. Yes, if you want to rent a unit, you need to visit the office and fill out a rental agreement. You will need your drivers licence.

Q. Can I rent a unit over the phone?

A. You may reserve a storage unit over the phone, but the only way to complete the rental agreement is in person at  our office.  This is for your protection as well as the protection of others.

Q. Do you require a deposit?

A. Yes, we require a $20 deposit. You will get it back if the unit is clean, and you move out before your due date.

Q. What are the unit sizes and prices?

A. 10 X 20 - $80        10 X 12 - $55         10 X 10 - $50          5 X 12 - $40

Q. How do I pay?

A.  There is a secure drop box located at our office that you can use if the office isn't open. You can sign up in the office to pay online, or you can mail your payment to P.O. Box 1585 Gilmer, TX 75644. You can pay by check, cash, credit/debit card, or money order.

Q. Do I need to supply my own lock?

A. Yes, a disc lock is required. We sell disc locks in our office for $10.

Q. Do you keep copies of the keys?

A. No, we do not. 

​

Q. Do you have climate controlled units?

A. No, we do not.

​

Q. Am I required to rent for a specific time period?

A. No, our rental agreement is month to month. However, when you intend to move out, you need to give a written notice 10 days in advance.

Q. Do your units have electricity or lights?

A. No, they do not. You will need to bring a flashlight if you access your unit at night. 

​

Q. Do you prorate your rent?

A. No, we do not. 

​

Q. Can I use my unit for things other than storage? i.e. man cave, band practice, garage sale, or for a business.

A. No, you cannot. We do this to protect our renters and their contents of their unit.

Q. Who has access to my unit?

A. The unit you rent is secured with your lock and your key. Only you can decide who has access to your unit and who doesn't. It's our policy to never give anyone who isn't on your rental agreement access.

Q. If I lose my keys, can I cut my own lock?

A. No, you cannot. If you lose your keys, you must call a locksmith service at your own cost. If there is any damage to the door or the slides, you will be responsible for the costs to fix them.
